3D sensors will soon be in everyone’s pocket. Paving the way for a new generation of apps that can interact with the world while simultaneously uploading 3D data to the cloud.
In a session called ”Machines understanding of humans” Amir will talk about how a constantly updated 3D map in the cloud allows for a generation of apps that can understand and interact with the environment. Robots will easily navigate buildings and Augmented Reality glasses will know what you are looking at.
Amir is co-founder and Chief Parakeet at Paracosm, a development partner on Google’s Project Tango. Paracosm is building a crowd-sourced 3D map of every place on earth so that robots, AR, and 3D enabled mobile apps can understand and interact with their environments.
