Designers are agents of change and creators of the future. Their role isn’t just to make things but to create a vision of how those things will change life as we know it. A new form of communication is needed for designers to both conceive and communicate their ideas – design fiction. In a session called “The Craft of Storytelling”, Jill will examine the great moments of design fiction past, demonstrate recent examples and illustrate how new fictions can be brought to life in the future.
At The Barbarian Group, she works with clients to develop long-term product experiences. Previously she was an Executive Creative Director at R/GA, and a key player behind the design of the Nike+ platform.
